In an effort to share the knowledge and insights of Palace staff and volunteers with guests, Iolani Palace proudly presents Kaana Ike Spotlight Talks, a free learn-at-lunch public discussion series on the third Wednesday of the month.

The free Kaana Ike Spotlight Talks will take place from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in Rumi Aina, the video room in the Hale Koa building (Barracks) on the Palace grounds. Participants are welcome to bring their lunch with them.

Topic: “Who are The Friends of Iolani Palace?”
Speaker: Zita Cup Choy, Iolani Palace Historian

This presentation will illuminate how The Friends of Iolani Palace came into existence. In addition to a historical background of the non-profit organization, Cup Choy will share interesting stories of volunteers, guests and the restoration project that help bring to life the experiences of those who have given their aloha to Iolani Palace.
