Iolani Palace partners with Hear Hawaii for its monthly workshop on Saturday, November 12, from 12 – 1 p.m. and 2 – 3 p.m. in Iolani Palace’s Hale Koa (Barracks) Video Theatre. The workshop is free and open to the public.

During this workshop, participants will learn about the history and importance of La Kuokoa, also known as Hawaii’s Independence Day, celebrated annually on November 28. Attendees will also hear about the Hawaiian Youths Abroad program, which was established during the reign of King Kalakaua.

Spaces are limited to 20 people per group, and interested individuals are encouraged to register early.
