The Friends of Iolani Palace staff are stewards of this sacred site and work to provide a memorable visitor experience to over 160,000 guests each year. Palace staff work in a variety of roles including guest services, security, administration, membership, special events, interpretive programs and collections management.

DIRECTOR OF FINANCE
The Director of Finance is responsible for the financial management of The Friends of ʻIolani Palace (FOIP) related business affairs, including human resources, the Retail shop, and Reservations, and is a key member of the senior management team. Additionally, this position works closely with the Board Treasurer and serves as a liaison with the Board’s Finance Committee and Investment Committee.
MUSEUM STORE ASSOCIATE
The Museum Store Associate (MSA) is responsible for assisting customer as they look for products, keeping the store clean, ensuring the shelves are well-stocked and helping customers check out at the point of sale. The MSA will spend most of their time on the sales floor assisting customers to ensure the guest experience is positive and memorable by providing exceptional customer service and aloha.
GUEST SERVICES ASSOCIATE
The Friends of Iolani Palace is currently seeking a Guest Services Associate (GSA) . Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, with three important qualities of customer service: professionalism, patience, and a “people-first” attitude. We are looking for individuals who wish to work in a fast-paced and fun work environment providing extraordinary experience for our guests from start to finish. Following traits: Friendly, goal-oriented, and flexible to meet the needs of the organization. We are currently seeking seasonal part-time help (at least 19 hours per week), the right candidate may have an opportunity to move to full-time.
PALACE GUARD
The Friends of Iolani Palace is seeking Palace Guards to provide protection for Iolani Palace, maintain security of the property, safeguard its contents, and supervise the personal safety of staff, volunteers and guests. They provide excellent interpersonal skills while ensuring that security and safety policies and procedures are understood and followed.
