Join Iolani Palace for This Month’s Hear Hawaii Workshop

Iolani Palace partners with Hear Hawaii for its monthly workshop on Saturday, April 9, from 12 – 1 p.m. and 2 – 3 p.m. in Iolani Palace’s Hale Koa (Barracks) Video Theatre. The workshop is free and open to the public.

In April’s workshop, participants will learn about Olelo Noeau through discussions surrounding the Hawaiian Book of Proverbs compiled by Mary Kawena Pukui, a beloved Hawaiian Scholar and author. Kumu Anuhea will also share some of her favorite resources by Mary Kawena Pukui. Lastly, attendees will each get a chance to create an artistic sign representing their favorite Olelo Noeau, which they will take home with them as a souvenir.

Spaces are limited to 20 people per group, and interested individuals are encouraged to register early.
