ʻIolani Palace Collections Identifying Marks
Many of the original Palace objects can be recognized by unique markings, patterns or insignia that were symbolic of the Hawaiian monarchy. If you think you may have original Palace furniture or articles from the original Palace collections, or have information about the whereabouts of original Palace items, please contact the Curator.
Below are examples of markings and emblems that were seen on many of the Palace treasures and used to represent Hawaiian royalty.
