State Dining Room

Beautifully carved sliding doors mark the entrance into the State Dining Room. The room features a crimson theme with floor-to-ceiling windows, rosewood furniture, elegant Bohemian crystal and Paris porcelain, and a massive floral carpet. Portraits of Prussian, French, Russian and British leaders hang on the walls. After the overthrow of the monarchy, this room was used as the Senate Chambers by the Territory and later by the State of Hawaiʻi.
