Japanese Language Specialty Tour
The Hawaiʻi’s Royal Connection to Japan tour explores how the Hawaiian Kingdom established a relationship with the Asian nation, which continues to the present day. This exclusive opportunity brings King Kalākaua’s 1881 journey to Japan to life. During this docent-led tour, guests will have access to restricted areas throughout the Palace for an up-close look at precious objects, learn about people in Kalakaua’s inner circle, and hear stories about the King’s efforts to strengthen the Kingdom’s position on the world stage.
The 45-minute Japanese-language specialty tour is available on Wednesdays at 12:45 p.m. The Hawaiʻi’s Royal Connection to Japan tour is $77.95 per adult and $51.95 for children (ages 5 to 12) and is limited to a maximum of 6 guests, who will each receive a special souvenir keepsake.

こちらはイオラニ宮殿の日本語スペシャルツアーとなります。
Hawaii’s Royal Connection to Japan tourではハワイ王国が今日に至るまでどのような歴史的変遷を経てアジアの国、日本との関係性を築いたのか、その流れに注目します。ツアーを通じて明治14年のカラーカウア王日本訪問を現代に蘇らせます。ツアーでは、宮殿内の制限区域内にお入り頂き数々の貴重な収蔵品を間近にご覧頂ける他、カラーカウア王等と親しく接した様々な人物像や世界の舞台において王国の存在意義を示す為に自ら立ち上がった王渾身の努力とその行動力についてご理解頂ける内容となっています。
全編通じて45分間にわたるこのツアーは毎週水曜日の午後1時15分からの催行となります。
ツアー料金は、大人1名様＄77.95、子供1名様＄51.95（5歳から12歳まで）。
