Celebrating Queen Liliʻuokalani's 185th Birthday | Sunday, September 3, 2023

We had a vision: where community gathered for lūʻau and kanikapila on the ʻIolani Palace grounds. Mahalo palena ʻole to everyone who came together to make that vision a reality!

Three-hundred guests gathered for a lovely  evening with ono food provided by Tammy’s, music and hula with Waipuna, Kamahaʻo Haumea-Thronas & Friends, Robert Uluwehi Cazimero and Kuana Torres Kahale, and Hālau I Ka Wēkiu, and prizes provided by Hawaiian Airlines, Prince Waikiki, and Kuana Torres Kahele.

In further support of our Lāhui a pound of locally sourced poi from Maui for each of the 300 guests in attendance is being donated to Chef Hui Maui Relief efftos to help feed the Maui community as they navigate ongoing recovery efforts.
