Join Iolani Palace and Hear Hawaii for a workshop with Kumu Anuhea Kanealii!

In partnership with Hear Hawaii, join us for a special workshop on Saturday, March 12, from 12 – 1 p.m. and 2 – 3 p. in Iolani Palace’s Hale Koa (Barracks) Theatre room. The workshop is free and open to the public. This workshop will highlight the beauty and relationship the Hawaiian people have with native birds. Participants will be taken on an exciting adventure through the book Kolea and the King’s Crown by Alice Flanders Guild, followed by a hands-on arts and craft activity to create their own souvenir.

Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test will be required, except for children 12 and under. All ages are welcome. Spaces are limited to 20 people per group, and interested individuals are encouraged to register early.
